Trent University, one of the Læra Institute's university sponsors, is delighted to announce the second Norwich Model Arctic Council (NORMAC) for University, taking place 25-29 June 2022 at the University of East Anglia (UEA) in the cathedral city of Norwich, UK.  NORMAC University 2 is one of the few Model Arctic Council conferences in the world today designed with undergraduates in mind. Registration is now officially open, and undergraduate students from any university in the world studying any subject are eligible to participate.

NORMAC University 2 features expert teaching and guidance from Arctic specialists, over three full days of simulated Arctic diplomacy at which to hone valuable speaking and consensus-building skills, a field-trip to the famous Scott Polar Research Institute at the University of Cambridge, and social events at which to build lasting friendships with fellow students from universities in Canada, the UK and beyond.

NORMAC University 2 is an educational initiative of Polar Aspect, UEA and Trent University, and hosted in March 2022 by the UEA School of Environmental Sciences, with additional funding from the Royal Geographical Society.
